Any patchbay will pas phantom. If you are using a TRS, Bantom or TT bay, and anytime really, you should not patchw ith phantom on. You need to go into the line inputs, not the XLR inputs, otherwise you'll run through the 002 pres as well. Best to use the fixed +4/-10 5-8 inputs. Use a cable tester to test point to point, from mic connection ot 002 connection, to find your problem.
