De-esser - does Reaper have a built-in de-esser plug-in?

I commend you for your good intent, though perhaps in the thirteen years that have passed the OP might have found an answer by now! :D

provided you want to deess a one vocal only track, the reacomp with approp hi lo- passing is enough here as daverich aleady posted above. though it won't do a good job if the singer can sings other tones together with sharp esses. i try to imagine a singer with two mouths here. :)

Does not come with Reaper, but via Reapack (is bundeled with "Compressor 2", so search for "Tukan" and "Compressor 2") edit: oops, just saw that it is an veery old request :-)

BTW Reaper comes with decent deesser. JS De-esser.

ReaComp makes for a pretty good full range deesser if you set it up for it. Tweak to taste. Use pre-comp for look-ahead but don't automate that :) .

The fish fillets plugins were so good back in the day - nobody could believe they were free. What a blast from the past.
