[IID #1858] Standard Method to Create and Collapse Lanes

I am with you: +100! 1) A button to add/close automation lanes. 2) In a TCP a button to toggle show/close ALL automation lanes for a selected track (opening and collapsing them like a folder, together). 3) View menu option: "show automation lanes follows (linked to) track selection". Also the vertical track zoom could follow selection. 4) *parameters that have data* are available from the main context menu (in the example - "Flanger: intensity [slot #1]"): 5) Also, in the example above, the plugins themselves are available from the first menu (one mouse click less : you can save a month of your life in the long run). Lots of other ideas here:

Showing all active and/or all possible automation lanes in a track could well be a simple modifier plus click on the '+' button. Same for the '-' button when collapsing. The 'x' button for removing or clearing automation lanes should follow the exact same scheme. Consistency. The drop-down list can have markers like check-marks or something to indicate that this parameter has an automation playlist already. What I'm missing as well is displaying a particular automation value for all selected tracks. Did I overlook something ? That easily happens in Reaper.
