Sorry, things are moving so fast I can't keep up. :) I think we have ghost (shared) clips now, can someone explain how those work? If you have a clip on the timeline with copies elsewhere how do you optionally edit one clip and/or all the copies at the same time? Thanks in advance. No luck searching the wiki.

Not sure what you are asking here. Audio items are not ghostable in Reaper at the moment. Each audio item is it's own unique copy, any adjustments you want applied on several items you have to do manually. MIDI items do have a file based ghosting option...

yeah the L is right, we need ghostable audio items -- i think if you search: reaparts you will find something similar.

Agreed that a ghost function for audio items is needed, even independent of bbb's "reaparts" idea. I know for bbb ghost copies and reaparts are inseparatable concepts ;) , but I can see lot's of usefulness being able to ghost copy the current audio items also...

anyways ghost midi copies are not a truly ghost copies due to reaper needs to create midi files of items for changes...not integrated for now.
