You encoded that video with HuffYUV? That means it will be huge. AVI's don't work right when they're larger than 2GB, which a HuffYUV video will easily surpass. How large is the video which is out of sync?

Ok, yes HuffYUV is good as a source to encode from. I misunderstood, I thought you had the final video as huffy :), now reading your first post again I see that you used the huffy to encode to DivX3. A 900MHz should be good enough for just about anything as far as DivX3 is concerned. But just to give me a clear picture (:)), what resolution is the final video? Also, what interleaving settings did you use to mux the audio with the video? Did I understood correctly that you encode the video and audio simultaniously with Nandub? This a good way to get audio out of sync if you didn't know. Always encode the audio and video seperately and mux them together afterwards.

In nandub i went to audio settings and chose the mp3 audio (i ripped it out remember? I converted it to mp3 lossless using dbpoweramp) I went thru a series of 2 encodes first encode is all the filters in huffy AND i ripped the audio (also encoded WITHOUT the audio) second encode is the huffy version i took that version and i selected the mp3 audio and reencoded with divx 3.11 (with the audio of course) so basically i took the huffy with no audio and put the audio back in the resolution is 720x480 i guess it isnt exactly tv res oh well hehe NOTE: also there was this other person that i THOUGHT had the same prob as i did but its not the same since his version only desynched when he skipped thru with the timeline mine desynches cuz my video is too slow i also noticed just now that when im watching a professionally fansubbed anime the video speeds up when it is behind (only happens when i skip thru timeline) and mine doesnt do that =/

ummmmmm well I got mixed results here I opened the video i did with WMP and it reached 100% almost all the time but then i opened the same video encoded by an experienced person and his went around 96% at the beginning and dropped to around 70% and only went higher the more movement there was i checked both again and on the second time both were 100% I then opened both in divx player and tried to skip past the intro with my version of the video and it gave me an error saying it eneds more virtual memory but when i did it with the other video encoded by the experienced person his worked fine >.< PS: also is the huffy encode supposed to be off synch as well? cuz i encoded a new one last nite with fewer filters, just a little sharpness and a lil brightness added but when watch it with WMP its kind of slow, the frames are slowly changing (at the beginning only tho) does that matter when ur gonna compress with divx?
