M Audio Oxygen Controller for FX Controls

Hey all, I am new to reaper and have obtained a M Audio Oxygen 61 controller, I'm trying to get everything set up before I get into laying down my tracks. I have figured out how to get the sliders to work the way I want them to, and the buttons below - my question is how to I get the knobs to match the FX controls - for example the knobs would control gain on the distortion effect so I can be more precise with the adjustments. Is this possible? I could not find a threat that dealt with this, so I could use your help!! Thanks

Move the knob/slider on you plugin. Click on "Param" then click "Learn" Move the knob on your controller. Done. Once you've got the plugin set up the way you want there's a "Save as default" option at the bottom of the Param menu. Use this and your settings are saved for the next time. Steve
