I go after every sample and midi loop I can get, I have a HUGE database of sounds, kits, loops, one shots, midi :) ~Rob.

I didnt mean to start a debate here, lol.I just thought it'd be a good kit for people who dont have/can't afford other options.Especially newcomers, who may not know how to or want to load samples themselves into a sampler. Also it doesn't hurt that it's already GM compliant, has multiple outs, includes midi & audio loops & sounds good.Yeah it's a big download, but you can always delete what you don't want. And no you cant add midi directly to it,but you can still use your own midi on it's track. But by all means,if you don't want/like it,don't download it.I have no vested interest either way,I was only trying to be helpful.

Good freebeie, especially for beginners as someone said. But I found the sound of the kit to be a bit cheesy

If you want to try it out without the big download, latest Computer Music (CM#142) cover disc has a special CM edition of Drumcore. The blurp states: DrumCore 3 CM features a huge 1.8GB of samples and MIDI performances with loops and fills played by top drummers Gary Thompson (Dave Stewart, Everclear) and John Tempesta (Testament, White Zombie)! Seems to work fine with Reaper, based on the limited play about I've done with it so far. Scott
