I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a quickway to consolidate all tracks to solid wavs for export? What I am trying to do is send a session to another studio for mixing w/o using OMF....... I want to create solid wave files of all the dry tracks (no plugins or automation) and export them as individual wave files. I need sample accurate transfer to the other studio, so OMF is out of the question for me. Again, I have no plugins or automation, just dry tracks, so there is no need to bounce, just consolidate (make silence/audio regions into one solid region) and export all tracks individually. thanks, adam

yep. it is called "consolidate," and the shortcut is command-option-3. this assumes, of course, that you are already making .wav files. if you are currently using aiff or sdII files, consolidate first, then export the files to the other format using command-shift-k. the dialog box that comes up is pretty self-explanatory.

sure. just select all of the tracks before you hit the consolidate command. you don't have to tell PT to do it one by one...

yeah consolidate all. The select all the audio on one track and click on the audio section, and choose "export selected files as". Do this track by track and name everything. Doesnt take that long.
