Hi PROs, This may be basic, but I want to be able to position my subs exactly as I want, anywhere I want, in the frame. In a 16:9 movie, I'd like my subs to be entirely in the lower black bar, leaving the picture area completely free, for example. Experts have assured me that VobSub can do it, but I don't know what the red square really means, or exactly how to use the sliders on the right. As a matter of fact, that's about the only feature of GK that I can not enjoy because of my lack of knowledge. Most of the guides (on anything) I have come across do assume a lot of knowledge in the reader and take an awful lot for granted (one notable exception is the one on AutoGK by manono - check it out). Even remembering Rule 1, I couldn't come across one on positioning the subs that really goes into the depths. Regards.

I wonder tho when you put in the sub so it will be stationed exactly below the screen on the blackbars.... how would it turn out to be then if the movie picture is anamorphic and viewing the movie on a widescreen tv or even a widescreen projector? ... will the text move up or will it disappear
