Why is everything so slow on my screen?

To make any kind of performance increasing suggestions, members of this forum would need the complete information about your system. Please be as detailed as possible.

Here's my system: PC: Intel Celeron 2GHz, Windows XP Home, 1Gb 266ddr RAM Drives: 40Gb 5400rpm system, 80Gb 7200rpm Seagate Barracuda audio PCI slots: M-Audio Delta 1010, Universal Audio UAD-1 Graphics: Radeon 9250 128Mb AGP card I was just wondering if there's a setting in Pro Tools MP that allows you to put more priority on fast screen re-drawing?

I think you must be happy to be able to run PTMP at all. Your system is not qualified (Celeron cpu, 5400 rpm HD...)

I think the M-Audio hardware is less fussy than the Digi hardware, which is probably why I can use my Celeron PC. Also, having a 7200rpm second hard drive for my audio really helps, it's a very stable system.
