in dvd2avi you need to check "Video" --> "Field Operation" --> "Forced FILM" I followed this guide using the koepi october stable build it worked perfectly :)

ok, cheers guyz, gonna check out these guides now.... BTW the film is 29.970fps NTSC thats why I didn't check the force film option, I'm still unsure what all this means but as i'm reading through all this stuff & experimenting i'm learning more.. Thanx ;) p.s anyone know why the sound is out of sync?? my picture quality is perfect! just gotta get the sound sorted!

um, well i'm using gordian knot, converting ac3 to mp3 via lame etc u know the drill, when I multiplex the video & sound in nan dub & play it back it's slightly out lips move first sound after, it's less than a second but it's noticible. hope this makes more sense :o i'm not too good at this :)
