Hi, is anybody here aware of encoding tools based on gstreamer ( ) ?? I guess you know why i am asking :D . Although i had pretty good contact on IRC with Thonas van der Stichelen, one of the driving forces behind gstreamer, i never had the time to really investigate this. Please help me out :D

The possibilities sounding awfully :) My wishlist would be: - mplayer-plugin => playing near everything and is fast. (yuv-output is possible) - mencoder-plugin => converts to mpeg1, ffmpeg-mpeg4, xvid, hmm guess a lot more, after the vfw-interface for encoding is working, and a lot more that is there and I don't know about ;) - mjpegtools - plugins (mpeg2/1 encoding, muxing etc) - ogm-tools Just don't know if such things are possible Will have a closer look on gstreamer, once I restored my linux ;) Greets Steffen
