guitar pro to reaper

I would like to play guitar pro files through reaper. From the forum it looks like it's possible but I can't figure out the midi yoking. I see no "yoke to midi" in preferences > midi devices. Any help with this appreciated.

This is quite an old post and my solution is not quite what you wanted but my method is to export the files as Midi from guitar pro and then import these into Reaper. Assign VST instruments to the tracks to play the Midi and you're in business. Rob.

Is there a tutorial for writing drum parts in G Pro and exporting to Reaper to get the correct drums lined up ect?
