Explode items in order

There's an action to explode multiple takes in an item. But that's for the recording option "Split existing items and create new takes". I record using "Create new media items in separate lanes". So when loop-recording I have stacked items inside the loop. How could I put those items in order apart from the manually dragging each one? Thanks.

Not sure if there's an Action which can do this directly. But you can try this: 1) Select all stacked Items ... 2) ... and use the Action Take: Implode items on same track into takes first 3) Then use the Action Take: Explode takes of items in order afterwards You can also put the Actions of steps 2 and 3 into a single Custom Action.

If you have the SWS extension (google it if not), you can probably use the "SWS: Organize items by (...)" actions. This will reorder the takes though.

Hi, Doesn't the first item show all the others data when you drag the right edge of the first item to the right? Sorry if off base here.
