One of the more interesting features is the ability to edit slopes vertically without changing the item's overall length. In other words, one gives you constant item pitch changes, the other gives you sloped item pitch changes. By the way, in both scripts, stretch marker positions as well as item splits positions, respectively, are derived from MIDI note start positions relative to MIDI item length.
