Doing the work on the brakes wouldn't worry me, I've only done some very basic car DIY (oil change and front brake pad change) but as long as you are careful and methodical it should be fine. Personally I'd be tempted to get a one man brake flushing kit which uses air pressure from a tyre to bleed the system, they're supposed to be really easy to use and work well. I've been told rear shocks are simple to do (!) but I don't know for sure and as for the oil pan, no clue. I tend to read the Haynes guide entry and if I think "hmmm that looks tricky" that's my warning not to do it without help from someone with more experience than me. I'm not sure if that's what you meant but you're not thinking of working on the car only supported by jacks are you? IMO don't even think of getting under your car or doing this sort of work without a decent set of axle stands or ramps - it's just not worth it. Whatever happens there's going to be some pushing and pulling, all it takes is it to drop off the jack and boom there's a broken leg or much much worse. Cheers, John

I agree with john the presurised bleed kit is great also nip to halfords and get a kit with axle stands and crawl boards only cheap the only problem you may have is the bottom bolts on the rear shocks can get sheared so long as your carefull you shouldnt have a problem these bolts are stretch bolts so will need replaced all of your tasks are easy enough though as john says as long as you are careful and methodical it should be fine. If your ever in surrey i'll give you a hand

I think you could manage all the jobs. 1. I would buy a Haynes manual and read up before starting. 2. Plan the job and sort out tools etc for the job. 3. Allow plenty of time to do it in, so you sre not under any pressure. Only do one job at a time. Giving you more confidence before starting the next one. Best of luck.
