Every time that I try to compile with scenarist I get this message: Info Info Creating DVD Files Info No VTS<VTS_1> Language Tracks found Info Creating DVD data (VTS Title) VTS#01 Info Preparing to multiplex track main01-t Info Creating Multiplexer info Info Multiplexing Info Multiplexing VOB Main Stream Error Size of Vob file "C:\Documents and Settings\LabTech\Desktop\New Folder (2)\mux_data\willownew.scn-main01-t_t.vob" mismatch. Please contact technical support. Error MuxFromDB:MuxVTS failed Error Multiplex failed Error DVD files could not be created The tracks will all multiplex by themselves just fine. So if i multiplex the tracks beforehand, by right clicking on each individual track and then choosing 'make vob,' that process works fine. When i try to compile the disc after this step I get the same exact error. Anyone have any ideas? Just for the hell of it I tried to compile without the audio tracks and it worked fine. I don't know what that means. There didnt seem to be any error regarding audio.

Just an idea but try deleting all files in the mux_data directory and compiling again.

Thanks for replying so quickly. That was the first thing that I had tried. Ive done the whole thing all the way through in scenarist a few times now trying something slightly different each time and still nothing has worked. Only time it muxed was when there were no audio streams present, so i'm assuming it's something in that area, but who knows.

I ran all of the .ac3 tracks through ac3machine just for the hell of it. I then started a new scenarist project from scratch and did the whole process again. It worked perfectly when i tried the final mux. p.s. Thanks for das uberguide Trilight

You're welcome, Zeta. :) As for the audio, it's rare but I have seen extracted audio have the headers screwed up somehow which may have contributed to your problem. I have not used AC3Machine but I would imagine this is what it corrected. I've used a quick command line util called "AC3fix" before that corrected problematic AC3 files. The thing is, you usually see a problem when trying to import them. I'm surprised Scenarist accepted them in the first place. Glad you got your problem resolved.

I guess I spoke too soon. while the final mux worked out okay, the audio was just slightly out of sync. when i transcoded the ac3 stream i made sure to add the same delay, I don't know where I went wrong, oh well, Ill just keep trying things until I get it right :)

You shouldn't have to transcode any audio at all. Why are you altering the original AC3 file you extracted?

the reason for the transcode was because when i used any of the ac3 fix utilities that i could find, they still would not work and the final mux would not complete. when i ran the ac3 files through ac3machine I kept all of the settings the same bitrate, channels, delay, etc.. I will try the command line program that you mentioned. It may be a day or so before I try it, already embarked on another backup. :)

I'll post my reply, in case anyone ever finds this thread. I was having this EXACT issue with Monty Python & The Holy Grail (NTSC, region 1) I ran all the .ac3 tracks through ac3fix, and sure enough, each one had some bad frames. Deleted my mux directory, re-imported the script, and voila, it compiled. Hopefully this helps someone else, it sure helped me. ac3fix is not listed in the doom9 download forums, but just google it, and you will find it. It was called ac3-fix on the website I downloaded it from.

Hi, I made a DVD from scratch, with every audio, video and subtitles I got this error completely randomly. I mean, i compile the project, and no error occurs. I then delete every files in the output directory, i re-compile the project, i have the error on a track of the scenario, never the same (i have more than 100 tracks). I do ac3fix on the ac3 associated with this faulty track, i compile again, the error doesn't occur ar can occur again on another track. I cahnge nothing, i relaunch the compile process and everything is right. This is very strange, i don't understand what's hapening with this error. Anyone who had this error and has the solution should help us, or maybe i'm the only one having this ? I'm using Scenarist 2.6 (can i install and load a 2.6 project into 2.7 without any manipulations) ? Matz
