LOL, so as a newbie to Reaper (but not to Cubase or that much to PT) I find myself tracking some tracks. Since now I have almost no latency at all, it seems I am playing finally on time :P Great right? Right! But then I still get a little ahead some times on the first beat. Well, I double track a guitar line with power chords, and ONLY I get the first beat of like 8 measures a little ahead (entering before all the band does). So, I think, ok, let's EDIT that with Reaper. Let's learn how you do it in Reaper, if at all. So, I just select 2 measures of said take (the measure before the band enters and the one with full band in) as I don't know how to select and 8th or 16th or 4th of a measure (how you do that BTW?). So, I move that selection using CONTROL I think, and it moves only a little to thr right, instead of a whole bar (as I did with some midi items before). Are you kidding me? Is like Reaper read my mind and just moved the peak I wanted exactly at the beginning of the bar, while making an auto fade... cross fade in the process. Are you kidding me? Wow! That was more fast than... FAST! Again, W-O-W! (no, not the most famous game in history, and no, I don't play that thing). I'm exited now. Thank you Reaper!
