Why does the LE version allow mono-stero versions of the impulse response, and TDM only allows mono-mono or stereo-stereo versions? Something wrong here? Thanks.
I'm talking about the RTAS version on an LE system and on a TDM Mix plus system. The LE system works fine, but for the TDM system, the source track has to be a stereo track. Anyone else?
Not to sound like an ass, but if you're using a TDM system, you should upgrade to the HTDM version. Using RTAS in the TDM environment when HTDM is available defeats the reasons you pay the bigger $ for TDM. Or am I missing something here?
Well, unless your on OS X HTDM is not a possability. And not all plugs have HTDM versions. And it sounds like he has the non TDM version so he hasn't paid the $$$ for the TDM version, I don't think there is a TDM version??? is there. But yes if it is an option then you should up date.
You do not need to be on OSX to use HTDM. I use Altiverb HTDM in PT 5.1.1 all the time and it works great, even when I'm also using RTAS plugs. Why would you use the RTAS version in a TDM session when you can't put it on an aux track?
