Hmm, I just finished 'Sergej' in Hitman 2 and while watching the credits I noticed that they mention "Ogg Vorbis" in the "Other Software" section. So are all the sound files in Hitman 2 Ogg or what did they use that for? I think this is the first major game release which supports this open format, isn't it?
Unreal tournament uses ogg, and there are quite a few other games out there using it, simply because it is license free and doesn't cost them money for every copy they produce. They generally use it for sound track, and for compressing sound effects.
The Serious Sam series were the first. Then Unreal Tournament and 2003. I guess Hitman 2 is the third. Good news for Vorbis! I am waiting for someone to write an in game vorbis player and playlist for unreal tournament 2003 like the MP3 player in Rocket Arena for Quake3 Arena. And in case you guys have been holding out on getting unreal tournament 2003........ STOP IT! The game is awesome. Feals alot like the old unreal tournament, but it looks....... well; friggn' amasing! I miss some of the old game types, but that is only temporary. The new bombing run type is fun though.

Mafia is another game with ogg sound. Very pleased when I saw vorbis.dll & ogg.dll contained in the program directory. The soundtrack in that game is quite good too. Edge
A lot of people in the AMV community are afraid to use vorbis because it isn't well supported among users, I say someone's got to make it standard! >:D

AMVs: Anime Music Videos (great stuff, btw) Here are a few quick URLs (form the top of my head, so they are in no particular order): and try searching for "Kevin Caldwell" on WinMX -- his videos are BRILLIANT (The one with "Rammstein - Engel" in particular, but it has spoilers for Evangelion (though I watched it before I saw the series, and I don't think it spoiled anything for me)).
well, that's quite nice to see that many popular games in fact use ogg. The next thing on the to do list for making it popular would be that p2p networks like kazaa would add it to ther video/music file extensions.

WinMX already supports searching for Ogg Vorbis files. But given the general knowledge of "the ignorant masses" about the Ogg project, I'd wager that there are next to no Vorbis encoded files to be found on the network.
