Hi, i have connect my keyboard via usb midi cable to computer, but don't know what settings to do in reaper. In set usb audio device in midi device to enable but it still doesn't work. ?
OK, so you have enabled your USB keyboard in Reaper. :) To hear it trigger some audio on a track: -- add a synth FX (e.g ReaSynth) to a track - click the [FX] button on the track, browse the the FX, double-click it. -- right- click the Record [R] button, select Monitor input, Record Input and MIDI input >> All MIDI Inputs >> all channels Now play your keyboard and you should hear something. PS Which USB keyboard is it? HTH
You're nearly there. I don't know about DXi Synth 1 but I added ReaSynth to the track and that project works here. - Can you remove DXi Synth 1 and add ReaSynth? - Also, open the Virtual MIDI keyboard (click [View] >> show virtual MIDI keyboard) and click its keys. This will also let you use your computer keyboard to send in MIDI notes too.
well first off read the instructions to you usb midi cable more careful nextime and most important thing, plug in the cables correctley which i didn't do. i did the reverse thing hahaha.
