BCF2000 - will it work like this?

Cross posting because I *really* want to make a decision soon... Hi all, I'm considering buying the BCF 2000 midi controller from Behringer. But before I do, I'd like to know if it can work like this: I'd like the faders and other controls to work with the currently selected track(s) only. IE: Fader 1 would be track volume, fader 2=pan, fader 3=volume envelope, fader4=some other envelope, fader 5=???. So when I select a track (or maybe even multiple tracks) the entire BCF200 is dedicated to working with what I've selected. Also, when I select a different track, I'd like the faders to move to their respective positions for that track. If you guys tell me this is possible I'll plunk down the money right away. Thanks!

Whew! Thanks for the reply... I almost hit "Add to Cart" and "Checkout" What would it take to do what I described? Would I have to write an interface dll? I have programming experience and might be inspired to do that if I can be confident that I could make it work.

Visit the reaper developer's forum. yes, you could write a dll. the specification for connecting to reaper are publicly available.
