input issues

I am using a fastrack ultra and cannot seem to get reaper to record more than two tracks at a time. Please see the attached screen shot which also shows routing & 6 channels of signal flow. Why don't tracks 3-6 show any input level..?? I'd greatly appreciate any advice!

the fasttrack does not show up under the audio system drop down box. It's set to waveout. It does show under input & output. I have inputs set to 6 & outputs set to 6 which is true to the unit

Does ASIO show up under audio systems? If not go grab ASIO4All and install it, then give it a try. Or did you install the drivers that came with fasttrack? Either should do the trick. Also the first input should be 1 and the last 6. Is that how you have it?

OK, so I set it ASIO & got it working! Now I can't figure out how to get the master out to be audible : (

Can you post a screenshot of your ASIO4ALL control panel? - In Options->Preferences->Audio->MIDI Devices, make sure the "Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth" is disabled, it can hog the device outputs on Vista and higher.

Ollie, using XP... all midi is disabled. Woody, I get no audible audio when monitoring live or playing back, speaker buttons are enabled. Do I need to rout the master output? I set it to hardware 1/2 and still get nothing. Using outputs 1/2 from the Maudio to my sound system

We are getting close man. You shouldn't have to change any routing on the master track. In your audio device settings does your fasttrack (mAudio) show up in the output dropdowns? Try picking these first/last. The try some headphones in your fasttrack and see if at least you can get some playback there.
