Hi all, Having good results recording my Taylor 514ce and my limited vocal. Here are my questions. 1. I am struggling trying to find a good simple reverb for my guitar. 2. The User guide is confusing to me.... what section explains how to get rid of the unwanted sounds throughout a track such as breath noises, guitar noises before starting to play etc. Thanks for all help and patience. RPK

to 1: anything that is labeled "reverb" or similar. got to bedroomproducers.com and download their 10 best reverb/delay suggestions. you will be done for the next 10 years or so ... :-)) to 2: its not the job of the userguide to explain how to mix. to get rid of noises is part of mixing. so you can the noises a) cut out or b) use a gate and let the gate cut it out.

Mic placement will help a little with finger noise etc.. A close mic setup will accentuate this noise, at least in my experience. I have the same guitar (514). Of course, there's a whole myriad of things to consider in mic placement. Experiment. It took me weeks to find a mic setup I liked.
