The Black Keys...

I like most of what The Black Keys have made, but... such a shameless rip-off of Stairway to Heaven...?

Just so I'm not dissing The Black Keys too much... This one is super: And the video is real cool :)

It does sound extremely similar in places. I quite like it, apart from the solo - thanks for posting :)

I'm really not into these guys. Yeah, sounds very "stairwayish". They're talented musicians and producers, but I really don't get into this whole alterna-indie-mellow-rock genre. They seem to steal from a lot of songs in their other material, too. Nah, I don't like 'em.

It sounds alot like this song to me: I don't hear stairway to heaven at all. I do think that when it goes electric that it is really noisy and trashy sounding though, almost like they want it to sound low tech on purpose.

Don't matter if this band ripped Led Zep. This is who Led Zep ripped it off. The incomparable Davey Graham. ns
