Man, I thought I had this licked but not at all. PT played to the end of one song, and then crash again. Reseated the cards once again, and now I get a DAE error when starting the software, and it continually gives me that strange Apple grey screen crash, where it asks to power down the computer. Did you purchase a DSP Farm card without the PCI v2.1 mod? You could call Digidesign and give them the serial number to determine that. What other cards are in your system, and what slots are they in? Are you using a Y interface cable, or do you only have one interface? What card is the interface connected to?
No, it's a '98-2000 Mix Farm card. I have noticed that the used Node cable I purchased is bent a little bit, not making proper contact. Not positive, but I'm thinking this is the problem now. We'll see. Sig

Jeez, I've tried damn near everything now. Swapped different PCI cables, different node cables, every slot combination I can think of. At points, it'll play back for half an hour, and then, the grey screen. Everytime. A few times, I got the following error: DSI Error Occured: -1 No clue what that means. I think it's a defective card. Anyone else, please?? Thanks. Sig
