Mac OS 8.1

In spite of the manual's pronouncements to the contrary, I've got an 001 system runnung on OS 8.1. I've had NO problems or crashes so far. I've got some software that doesn't like OS 8.6. So, I'm happy; but, I do worry. What feature(s) of 001 absolutely, positively require 8.6? (So, I can avoid it.) ;-)

This is a situation where we have listed what OS we have tested, and is therefore compatible. We have not said that 8.1 won't work, just that we have not tested it with the 001. Bob
