Yes, as I just said in your other thread about this, 10.3.9 is not recommended because of Quicktime 7. You didn't mention in the other thread that you were using a 001, so ignore the fact that I told you to get 6.9 because 6.4 is as high as you can go with an 001.

I have PTLE6.4cs9 on OS10.3.9 - With Quicktime 7 I know others with this same setup and everything works flawlessly. The only major point to solving the problem with quicktime 7 is you need to update Core Audio. (6.4 is not good enough for QT7 and has major known issues). If you have not already tried this is suggest you do. Most users I talked to said all problems went away with the updated drivers for Core Audio. Keep me posted, Scott
