How can I make a macro that will allow me to open up the routing for a track?

I want to set up my midi controller to open up the selected tracks send/receive routing, I don't see an action that will allow this so how do I set up a macro to accomplish this?

"Track: View I/O for current track" seems to do it for me.

Ah, yes, forgot that. It's a seperation I don't really get I'm afraid. I just know I have to do as you say for some actions to do what's intended in every case :) Would be cool if someone could elaborate about when this "last touched" thing applies and what the benefits are... but I guess I should ask this in another thread (if jonespnice isn't also interested, that is).
