I can't use 32bit plugins with latest Reaper at all when using the ASIO drivers version 3.801 (the latest) with my RME Multiface II. DirectSound and WaveOut works like it should. Too bad because I had to buy jBridger because of this. Please look into this. Regards P.S. I have tried the pre releases available too and they stutter too with ASIO drivers and I need to have a very large latency to make it "work".

It must be very old then. I only know the last one and the one prior to that. EDIT: Oh, 4 digits in the post-count. :) -Data

Haha, thanks. To the OP, check out the latest 3.12 build (rc), and see if it improves things...

I am installing it right now and I will report back to you! P.S. Amazing support and updates. Honestly never been more amazed by any other software developer.

After some testing I have discovered that the latest version behaves strange sometimes. The attached file is a realtime online render. I had two tracks where a clip ended on track 01 which is the guitar bending and continues over at track four with a new clip and suddenly distorts after a few seconds. If I disable the FX on track 01 after the sound has started distorting (in the end of the attached file) it goes away and track 04 continues without distortion. It returns if I enable channel 01's FX again. The same plugins (Density mkII, Spitfish De-esser, Sonalksis EQ) with jBridge works like it should at same latency (32 samples) and also by using x86 Reaper. The attached file is an m4a file but had to be put in a zip file to be allowed to be uploaded.

I enabled anticipated FX processing with the default 200ms render-ahea size and for now it does not distort at all. I will try and push it harder and see what happens.

I have mix some today with about 19 VSTs of x64 and x86 versions but mostly x86 and it works great with the settings I mentioned. I had the RME Multiface II PCIe at 32 samples of latency and didn't start crackling until the system couldn't take the load anymore which was reeeaaally high considering 32 samples of latency. I love the combination Reaper and RME Multiface II.

How can I make a macro that will allow me to open up the routing for a track? : Previous topicNext topic: Heated Seats Mystery
