Default Fader position

Is there a way of changing the default volume level for a track? EG: If i create a new track the volume fader is set at -6db?

Preference => Project => Default

Easy Peasey.

Another option (if you don't want to use -6dB all the time) is to create a track template with the volume at -6dB. This gives you the choice when you create a new track of whether to make a normal track or use this track template.
