Hi, and welcome to the forum- Since I wrote that, the RePAL filter has become available. I would use that these days to undo the damage of those lousy BBC PAL2NTSC conversions. You can find it here: It will do pretty much the same thing as Decimate(6), but without nearly as many blended frames. However, that Decimate(6) suggestion didn't take into account any remaining interlacing. You'll have to tweak Decomb for that. I'll come back after having a look at the vob. Edit later: This script: KernelBob(4) RePAL() works to give you good output with almost no blends. You can find out how to use scharfis_brain's KernelBob in this thread: And if you want to try and get no blends at all, that same thread will show you how to use his UnblendPattern in conjunction with KernelBob. It'll work well if there are no pattern changes. If KernelBob is a bit too much for you to master at this point, you might use another doublerate smart bobber, such as DGBob. You can find it at the first link I gave (the same one that has RePAL). This script should also work well with the other old R1 BBC DVDs, such as Fawlty Towers and Black Adder.
