I think it has been said before, but I think the current curvable beziers should be applied to the fades as well. Then you could grab them and curve them into the shape you want

Well, today I just found out that if you Alt-click-drag on a Crossfade, you can not only freely position it, but also adjust the shape. Cool! I'd love it if this worked on the Fade-Ins and Fade-Outs as well.
