Hello, I first repoted this bug back in 2000 when it caused me a lot of grief, and it is still doing so: DVerb forgets its room size setting when a preset is recalled. I believe that this has something to do with the fact that when you change the room type, the room size often changes to a default as well. This messes up the room size of the preset that is being recalled. For example, I have made two preset settings: (A) Plate,Large and (B) Non-Linear,Large. When I change from (A) to (B) then Non-Linear setting has become a small size instead of the preset large size. So i go to click on the large button, and nothing happens because the plugin interface thinks that it is large, when in fact it is small (and also sounds like the small setting) so i click on medium and then on large, and hey presto now it sounds like what the preset is, after two more clicks. Unfortunately achieving this with automation is a *REAL PAIN IN THE BUT*. Basically makes using DVerb with automation totally unusable. This is also complicated by fact that the reverb decay time itself changes as a function of the room size parameter. Ugly. Please fix this some time soon, Matt

You are right! DVerb is not the only plugin to suffer from this type of problem. Digirack single band EQ eq can get its frequency settings confused if you change its type (low-/hi-/band-pass) without also specifically changing the frequency. I guess there is a difficulty whenever a parameter can take on different values based on another parameter's setting. It is a bug.

Yes. I confirmed this with a Digi tech person in Japan early 2000, and he could reproduce the problem from scratch in a new pro tools session over the phone.... so I was very surprise to see exactly the same behaviour in a new HD system....
