I have recently upgraded my PC with an ASUS P4S533 Motherboard (SIS645 DX Chipset) Intel P4 2GHz. OS Windows XP (HE) I am currently experiencing a major problem when trying to import an AVisynth file (*.d2v) CCE reports "having a problem" and shuts down Does any memeber use this particular hardware setup sucessfully with CCE. I need an injection of confidence. HomerJ :)
Hi Milkman, Yes, I've added it, I've taken it out, I've put it back........ It's currently out !!! But thanks for the suggestion I've even got the wife to make sure I spelt "ResampleAdudio" correctly . HomerJ ;)
i used the same mboard, and had no problems with cce sp 2.5 and avisynth 2.02 and 2.04. i suggest you get 2.05 and try again, also, there is a processor patch that i applied that might have helped (don't know). one thing is that cce gets pissed if there are memory problems. download prime95 and run its test to make sure your memory seems ok (especially if you are trying to run 1066). read in the CCE forum, the faq there has alot of info. -fisix

fisix, Thanks for the reply. I have got it working, but had to add the "resampleadio(44100) line to my AviSynth script (after I learned how to spell). I am aware of the patch, but only done one movie so far. Thanks for the reply. HomerJ :)
Recentley upgraded to this setup and cce has become a bitch, even though i didn't have any probs before, completley reinstalled windows as well, have applied the patch and don't get any hassle anymore, although that doesn't mean its working ok in the background, not sure why i got the crc errors though, used it for ages on a lesser setup with no probs

I have now done 2 movies with no problems, certainly not crc ones. Time to encode is less than real time for a single pass. Lord of the Rings Movie time is 2hrs 51 mins Encode time was 2hrs HomerJ
