Yes, please. ++1. I'd also again like to propose a list of the used parameters on top of the actual parameter list. Those parameters that are learned, modulated or in any way active would be collected in a nice list and could be set up from there. Saves a lot of scrolling and searching. This would be nice to have in the MIDI editor as well.
sounds good to me, anyone know if there is a FR yet to have the option of related media to be saved in a folder with the template and not just simply referenced. It is very easy to "clean" a project and delete the tracks the template references.

Let me ask this, and perhaps you can see if it helps for what you want: I wanted a simple project template that would include basic env. lanes for 16 traks... These did not include automation for FX, just the vol, pan and mute lanes. What I found was that for this to work, I had to put in one more point than the default start point. With that the lane save as the template... but without it they don't. so tedious as it would be to set up for a complex set of automations, I wonder if that would work for your wishes? I agree, that env. should be saved even without having to do the above.
