Hey guys! Can't find anything on the forums or the manual - is there a way to import .L and .R as stereo? Thanks!

no, its a standard wav format. if you export a stereo track from protools you'll get an L & R. would like an answer to this aswell.

If you are creating the .wav files yourself in PT, then you have a choice. In PT go to File>Bounce to>Disk and make your choice. Hope that helps. P.S. You made me open PT for the 1st time in 3 months:p

well at least you could consolidate them via "digiconv" - it's super fast, my favourite conversion app...

Install SWS extension Import both files to separate tracks, in-sync Select them both Execute "Xenakios/SWS: Implode items to takes and pan symmetrically" (create shortcut for it eventually. There you go ! They behave like a regular stereofile now. If you want to apply item-fx to both sides, glue the item befor doing so. Crucial for working with protools guys !

That's helpful, and definitely works. Still, more clicks than I'd like ;-). I may look into digi convert.

It sure would be nice to have the option of bringing both tracks into one stereo track. I agree, a lot less clicks. ;)

well, if you create a shortcut for it, it's actually a single keystroke :-)
