Woohoo!! :Dancing_chief: Only had my ovloV two weeks and my boot spoiler has arrived already. Question is are they easy to fit? Problem is the spoiler came to my flat and the car is in my bro's garage 15 miles away and I cant picture the boot lid itself. I know the spoiler is held on by two bolts but does the boot lid have to be drilled?

Hi, That would depend on whether it is an official Volvo spoiler or after market copy spoiler. You mention 2 bolts so I suspect the latter and therefore, yes you'll need to drill your tailgate. BUT....... Don't drill until you have 1) double sided tape to fix the spoiler in place or suitable glue to do the same and 2) you have dry fitted in place to make sure you can fit it with the bolt holes where they are.. Des. . . ;)

Yea it's an after market one bought through ebay and came from Poland of all places!! I normally use a bit of windscreen bond (as I did with the chavalier) that I have left over from my AutoGlass days, seems to hold most things in place LOL. But as this is an estate I want to use the bolts as well for extra security. Thanks
