Can I use a digi001 with a pc laptop? How?

I searched the forums for this and came up with nothing. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks, but I'm not a new user. I've been using a 001 with desktop PCs for 5 years. And I have no use for an mbox. (Not to mention, the mbox is a tragedy of an attempt at a 2 input recording solution. I don't see how it was even released.) I'm asking about this because I've used many mac laptops with a 001, but I didn't know if a similar adaptor was made for the pc. Is it just me, or is digidesign forcing 001 users to pay them more money and buy the more expensive 002? Sounds pretty shady to me. I may be switching to Nuendo or Paris systems with the recent happening of digi.

keep your eyes on ebay for a 2 or 4 slot expansion chassis. I bought my laptop and expansion chassis on ebay and saved a bundle. The emachines m6805/6809/6810/6811 seem to be good. i got my m6805 this week from ebay, and it rocks. talk about bang for the buck.
